Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ClearBride ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ClearBride is a wedding planning application that provides AI-powered tools, guest management, budget tracking, vendor discovery, digital invitations, wedding website creation, and related planning features. The App is available at clearbride.app and as an installable Progressive Web App on iOS and Android.

3. Account Registration

To use ClearBride, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must be 18 years or older to create an account.

4. Subscription and Billing

ClearBride offers a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription:

• Monthly plan: $9.99/month, billed monthly
• Annual plan: $79/year, billed annually

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through the app settings. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods. Partner access is always free.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Upload malicious content or attempt to disrupt the service
• Share your account credentials with others (except the partner invite feature)
• Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the App

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in ClearBride — your guest list, wedding details, vows, notes, and any other data you enter. By using the App, you grant ClearBride a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any purpose beyond operating the App.

7. AI Features

ClearBride uses Anthropic's Claude AI to power certain features. AI-generated content (vows, vendor suggestions, contract summaries) is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed and personalised by you. AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances. ClearBride is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ClearBride is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We are not responsible for vendor information, prices, availability, or quality — all vendor decisions are yours alone.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearBride and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by updating the date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Colorado.
